From the the early age of 5 his adulation for music was instantly ignited upon first seeing Prince perform in the film Purple Rain, it was at that very moment OneTwoKno realized he wanted to create the same excitement Prince could contrive. As the years progressed, the amount of influences grew through relatives. Tunes spanning from late afternoons with his grandfather cooking while playing Jazz and Soul records to uncles introducing him to the likes of Big Daddy Kane, Houdini, Tupac, EPMD, Rakim and Souls of Mischief (just to name a few).

OneTwoKno’s love for music has continuously stayed consistent, whether it be promoted shows w/ Mike Schpitz, Slot-A, Add-2, Verbal Kent, Prob Cause, Lokua,Astonish, Ill Legit, Drunken Monkeeee, Swift, Lungz, Sincere, Garo, DJ Grimmace, Vanysh, Mr.Robotic, and many more. Or Played events w/ The Roots, Gym Class Heroes, Estelle, Sadat X, Lupe Fiasco, B.O.B. The Rapper, Producer, Songwriter, Engineer, and Promoter definitely keeps plenty cards in his deck and KNOWS how to use them properly.
